About
This is my rather crude attempt at keeping friends back home and anybody else about my travels round the world. Travelling through Phillippines, China, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and the states (and anywhere else I jet off to in between). After only sorting my trip out in less than two weeks and quitting my job, here are my tales.

Hi Jay, great to hear how you’re gettin on. Sounds real intersting place, would love to go out there myself and see what you have been upto. Was my birthday on 14th May so on Sat night had Char, Mark, Emma, Nairn, Sam, her boyg Kev and Ella Mae over for dinner and a night sat round our dining table. Great night! did not feel too bad on Sunday considering but sat around doing nothing and then Rob took me out for dinner that night.
Lottie’s birthday Tues 23rd May. She is in Cambodia at the moment and will be at AngKor Wat for her birthday. She is due back sometime in July but not really sure when. She spent quite some time in New Zealand, then a couple of month in Aus and is now travelling her way back.
We are hopefully, all being well, moving next Friday. Yippee, when we do I will let you know.
Anyway, have a great birthday, whatever you are doing where-ever you are.

Looks like today is Read Jay’s Blog Day! Sounds like you’re having a fandabidosie time! We all missing you lots but hoping you’re taking loads of photos & you manage to work out how to add them on (Didn’t you used to be a bit of a PC wizz or has the culture shock hit you harder than you thought?!?). Nat’s coming up next week end so we may have a belated drink for your birfday (or we may just get very drunk!). Take care and have a fab birfday & loads more adventures!

You sound to be having a great time, despite those damn insects!! I could have set you up with on-line Tagalog learnng had I thought about it – we have just released it … but I guess its a bit late now!!
I’m still hobbling, but intending to be limp free by the autumn… have to do something just to keep up with Rosie!

He is not likely to get to an internet connection until the end of the month. I think they still use tin cans & bits of string to communicate.
He will upload his pictures & update his adventures around the end of May.
When I spoke to him, he had a filipino accent & was speaking to me in tagalog… almost fainted!! He sounded good, having lots of fun & will update us soon.
