Sydney
Hurrah after recovering from my no sleep issue i relaxed for a couple of days – no alcohol! I had to psych myself up for the long-haul. I’m going to be here till January! Gotta get a job!Gotta make some friends! All very worrying getting into the big smoke tottally alone! So after that mid-travel crises I headed out of the Park hotel and down the road to the wake up hostel which became my home for a while. I miss the happy hour deals dearly now….

So here we are, pics of the city… Just outside of the main ferry port.

This is at darling harbour, two mins down the road. Oh, and I noticed just yesterday that the monorail stops outside where I live. The future is now!….

The first classic pic, the opera house!

Another classic. I climbed that don’t you know!

A double whammy! I bet its amazing at new years though lighting up the bridge and opera house and fireworks galore!

Yep I could get used to this. Never lived in a city before, especially right in the centre.

“Jump into the fountain for a crazy photo!”

The sydney riots…No not really war demonstration

Lisa (on the ground with me) and vicki are two girls I met by complete chance (entry, 29th sep) and now are really good mates. After a heavy nights drinking we decided to do the Cogee to bondi beach coastal walk…

I am enjoying….

The girls start spanking each other… We are getting nowhere fast!

Then we keep stopping for photos… sez in the book it should take about 2 and half hours, I think it took us an extra 1 or so as we kept stopping fro fag breaks and photos…

One of the many beaches we past…

An amazing graveyard on the cliff side. You can just about make it out, its huge!

“Call that a chin-up!”…They had these workout areas dotted all round the coast for the hardcore joggers I expect.

“I’ve been training really hard, everything I do is extreme!”

Finally make the final beach destination – Bondi.

Time for one more group shot!

A bunch of guys who I met in the wake up hostel. Time to think…

No we are not at an oz version of ladbrooks, but the only place you could smoke was downstairs at the pokies (gambling room I guess)

View at night out the balcony. My work is just past the orange light on the right.

A bit ofice skating at central station. I just noticed my ripped jumper.

A reinactment of the pseudo fight (entry 29th sep) It was kinda like this!

Sabrina and crew are back from the east coast. She wants a fight too!

One of sabrina’s old flatmates Ellisha a korean girl who apparently I was doing abit of what they call ‘booby-booby’. I had never heard of this and still not sure what it means!

Zis was her other friend nicole alsofrom korea. I’m glad I have the names straight now. I ended up borrowing their umbrella after walking them home and had one of their numbers in my phone. The next day I said i’d come and meet up for a coffee and give back the umberella I had no idea which one it was. Anyway ended up going out with them and this french girl ‘elle s’appelle Amel’ who I keep saying I will organise a night out with. There’s not enough days in the week with my working hours.

Group shot! Incidently the guy in green – Darla was the guy who was on the white water rapids boat with me and the guy who pushed my head down at the first rapids as we fell out. I had no clue he did this till the pub later that day!

I thought her name was tiger when we first met in Cairns hence the ‘grrrr’. Didn’t realise she said ‘tyler’ but I kept going ggrrrrr. She must have thought I was crazy…Unless she thought it was some kind of pic up line or something!

The witches of eastwick – The night they all wanted to go to a strip bar (entry, 12th Sep). That was a strange night.

A slightly more normal pose, the classic!

Twighlight photography at the harbour bridge at 4am.

Me doing my porn-pose at Hyde park after the habour.
